“A Heart for Africa – Reprise”

Friday, October 27th
at 6:30pm

Based on the variety of travel interests enjoyed by many Craig Bay residents, Wally and Alison Chinn are offering to, once again, provide another of their photo-travelogue presentations on one of their more recent trips to Africa.  In particular, having previously made presentations on their exploits in Tanzania and Kenya, this presentation will focus on their adventures in exploring Victoria Falls (Zambia and Zimbabwe), as well as experiencing a variety of safari adventures in both the Chobe National Park and the Okavango Delta of Botswana.

In addition, Wally & Alison will share their trekking adventures in Rwanda, in search of the resident Mountain Gorillas and endangered Golden Monkeys.  But no trip to and presentation on Rwanda can avoid acknowledging the Rwandan Genocide of 1994, so a brief look at the cultural side of the recovering Rwanda citizenry of today will be presented as well.

The presentation will take place in conjunction with the regular Friday TGIF, but set-up in the Beach Club Conservatory.  This event is provided for Craig Bay residents only, with attendance having to be limited to no more than 60 attendees due to the seating constraints of the Conservatory.

Please sign up to attend by clicking the button below. Be sure to include the number of people included in your registration (please only register those in your household). If you require assistance, please contact the Beach Club office.
