Craig Bay Social Committee Annual General Meeting

What Does the Social Committee Do?

The Social Committee uses the funds from the monthly Bottle Drive to organize fun community-wide events.

Past notable events include holiday celebrations (Canada Day, Christmas Cocktail Party, New Year’s Eve), seasonal fun (Halloween, Octoberfest), unique affairs (Sock Hop, Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner, Western Night, Tacos Tuesday, Horse Races, Scavenger Hunt, Dinner in White), and the list goes on…

In addition, the Social Committee organizes annual lunches to say thank you to the WMPG and Bottle Drive volunteers and supports the Food Drive and other special events such as Art Wall and the recent Pool Reopening.

Bottle Drive funds pay for the bulk of the catering and entertainment costs for these events and for Beach Club needs such as linens, coffee supplies and the Conservatory audio system.

As COVID recedes, we are once again able to schedule more community fun, outside for sure, and increasingly inside the Beach Club.

Generous Craig Bay volunteers make these events happen and succeed for the entire community.

The Annual General Meeting on the 13^th is a chance for new and renewable volunteers to move forward with future events.

All residents are eligible to attend the AGM – no membership required!
