Our ceramics instructor, Lilach Lotan, is offering more workshops in the new year.

Workshops include 4 sessions / 2 hrs each in the Beach Club Pottery Studio (Arts & Crafts Room).

    • FRIDAYS – January 3–24  (10 AM–12 PM)

    • TUESDAYS – February 18–March 8 (3–5 PM)

Projects will focus on clay hand-building, and include glazing and firing:
This class is designed for both beginner and intermediate clay artists. During this four-lesson course, we will practice various hand building techniques such as slab building, hump and slump molds and pinch pots. We will take our projects from start to finish, including glazing and firing. Projects may include butter dishes, mugs, bowls and candle holders.

Cost:  $200 (+ GST = $210) fee includes 4 sessions (total 8 hours) plus all materials and firings (cash, e-transfer to lotanite@shaw.ca, credit card, or cheques accepted, due on or before first class)

Maximum of 10 participants per session – this allows for plenty of individual attention and good social atmosphere

(Please note that Craig Bay does not own a pottery wheel, so that method cannot be offered at this time.)
