We’ve had a very enthusiastic response to our notices in the Beach Club’s Friday emails over the past 2 weeks and now we’re ready to hold our Inaugural Meeting by Zoom on Thursday, June 24 from 7:30-9:00 pm.
Please sure to bring your ideas about what you would like this group’s activities to be, and also remember to forward your email address to Mary at maryelizabethmckenzie@hotmail.com to ensure that you receive your Zoom “Invitation”. It will go out this coming weekend to everyone who has responded.

Have you moved to Craig Bay in the past two years or so? Did you leave your family, friends and/or usual community supports behind? Has the pandemic created unique and unexpected challenges for you in connecting with new friends in our new community?
Many of us are in a similar situation, and the Craig Bay Newcomers Group is being initiated to help us make new friends together and connect with new interests in our lovely Village and surrounding Oceanside areas. Led by a new owner with experience in leading groups, we will have an inaugural meeting via ZOOM later this month to discuss what activities and supports this Group can offer to its members.
