The 2024 Nanoose Community Services Christmas Elf Program is well underway! Last year, with your help, we were able to make Christmas merrier for our less fortunate neighbours. Thank you for supporting the Elf Program and contributing to a joyful season for so many.
There will be an Elf Volunteer set up at the front door of the Clubhouse on Friday, December 6th between 10:00am and 11:00am to accept any gifts or donations you wish to drop off.

SOS Angel Tree Program 2024
Greetings from District 69 Society of Organized Services (SOS)!
The Angel Tree program is a gift collecting initiative to request new donated toys and gifts to stock up our Toyshop. The program helps low-income parents, guardians, and grandparents to select a gift basket to put under the Christmas tree for their children or grandchildren.
The SOS provides the participating business with “Angels,” which look and hang like a Christmas tree ornament. The Angels suggest the age, gender, and a requested gift or toy to purchase. These suggestions represent items that we would like to have in our Toyshop.
Simply choose an Angel from the tree, purchase the gift, and attach the Angel to the new, unwrapped gift. The gifts can be delivered to the SOS Community Services Centre or delivered to the Beach Club office during open office hours – gifts collected will be picked up by the SOS on December 12, 2024.
During Christmas 2023, SOS registered 861 households for this program and provided a special Christmas gift to 1107 children. 1144 adults also received grocery store gift cards. Your participation makes a significant impact on our community.
Sincerely,
Clare Holloway
