What began in 2002 as a small group of seven has since grown to a membership of around fifty or so. Weekly rehearsals are held in the Conservatory Tuesday afternoons from 1:30-3:30. Fall (Sept – Dec) and Spring (Jan – May) sessions each conclude with a ticketed public concert at Knox United Church. As a non-profit organization, the Choristers have chosen to support Oceanside Hospice since 2010 and have donated at least $1000 annually from ticket sale proceeds.
There is a membership fee this session of $65 which helps to offset expenses BUT if you have ever thought of possibly singing in your Craig Bay choir, do come and sit in on our first few rehearsals with no obligation or commitment.
Many Choristers have had folks comment to them that they look like they are really enjoying singing and having fun while performing – entirely true!! Director Lonnie Moddle keeps things light and fun but why not find out for yourself?
