• Smoking (including tobacco, marijuana, and vaping) is not permitted inside or on the outdoor patio of the guest cottages.
  • No dogs or other animals are allowed in the guest cottages, the only exception being service dogs being used by guests with approved documentation. Please advise the Beach Club office if a service dog is expected to be present.
  • Parking is permitted on the street directly in front of the cottages, limited to one car per cottage.
  • Craig Bay residents are responsible to ensure that their guests have access to and understand the Guest Information
  • Owners are solely responsible for any damages or expenses incurred or sustained at or to the Beach Club or Guest Cottages during the reservation period, as a result of misconduct, neglect, or carelessness of the owner’s guest.
  • No one who has symptoms or possible exposure to Covid can self-isolate or quarantine in the Cottages.
  • Please allow 3-5 business days notice for cottage reservation requests. Last minute reservations may be available, but not guaranteed.
  • Rental fees and damage deposits must be submitted by Craig Bay owners and residents only. We do not accept cheques directly from the guest.
  • Payment is to be made by cheque ONLY, payable to Craig Bay Beach Club.
  • Payment of rental fees and damage deposit are due at the time the reservation is confirmed. Failure to submit payment on time may result in termination of your booking request.
  • There must be at least one adult occupant in each guest cottage.
  • The sponsoring owner MUST be present at Craig Bay while their guests are staying in a guest cottage.

Please be advised:
Only registered Guests who have no symptoms or possible exposure to Covid can stay in the cottages.

No one who has symptoms or possible exposure to Covid can self-isolate or quarantine in the Cottages.

If a Guest tests positive prior to arrival for their stay in a Cottage, their booking will be immediately cancelled by the Beach Club Coordinator.

Covid Cancellation Clause:

If a Guest tests positive prior to arrival for their stay in a Cottage, their booking will be immediately cancelled by the Beach Club Coordinator.

If a Guest, who previously stayed or is currently staying at a Cottage, tests positive for Covid, the Beach Club Coordinator will immediately close the Cottage for fourteen days after notification.

Therefore, that cottage will become unavailable for two weeks following the departure of any guest who tests positive for Covid19.

**This may affect other bookings that had already been confirmed.**
Any bookings that cannot be accommodated by vacancies in other Cottages within that two week period will have to be notified of their booking cancellation. The resident may be notified of their booking cancellation on very short notice, or with no notice. This possibility must be understood and agreed to at the time of online booking.

Residents and their guests will be responsible for securing alternate accommodation under these circumstances.  The Beach Club assumes no responsibility for providing or locating alternate accommodation, and will not be responsible for any additional costs associated with this.

  • Reservations may be cancelled and refunded at least 7 days prior to the check-in date. Refunds will be subject to a 20% cancellation fee.
      — Contact the Beach Club Coordinator to make any changes or cancellations to your booking.
      — The refund request will be submitted to the property manager (Proline) and a cheque will be issued by them and sent directly to the owner.
  • Cancellations (in whole or part) are not refundable if submitted within 7 days of the reservation.
  • If your guest must cancel their booking or vacate early due to a Covid symptom, positive test result, health authority ordered quarantine, or other related cause, please contact the Beach Club Coordinator at beachclub@craigbay.com for instructions.

If a Guest, who previously stayed or is currently staying at a Cottage, tests positive for Covid, the Beach Club Coordinator will immediately close the Cottage for fourteen days after notification.   • Owners may book up to a maximum of 10 nights per reservation and / or 12-month period.
    • Additional nights may be reserved if there is availability within 14 days of requested dates.
  • Restricted to one cottage reservation and minimum night’s stay during peak periods, unless there is additional availability within 14 days of requested dates.
    • Peak periods include:
      • February—Family Day weekend (2-night minimum)
      • April—Easter weekend (2-night minimum)
      • May– Victoria Day weekend (2-night minimum)
      • July—Canada Day week (2-night minimum)
      • August—Civic Holiday week (2-night minimum)
      • September—Labour Day weekend (2-night minimum)
      • October—Thanksgiving weekend (2-night minimum)
      • November—Remembrance Day week (2-night minimum)
      • December—Christmas week 51 & 52 through January—New Year’s week 1 (3-night minimum, 7-night maximum)

 

The Craig Bay host is solely responsible for any damages or expenses incurred or sustained at or to the Beach Club or Guest Cottages during the reservation period, as a result of misconduct, neglect or carelessness of the member’s guest.

I understand my liability under Craig Bay Beach Club Rules and Regulations and accept such liability. I have read and understand the guest cottage rental policies, and reservation cancellation policies.

By confirming and submitting payment for this reservation, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and will comply with these terms.
