The four Guest Cottages are designed to provide a comfortable stay for your family and friends.  Each cottage sleeps up to four guests and features a kitchenette, fireplace, outdoor patio, and home-like comforts for your guests’ enjoyment. 

Please note: pets are not permitted, and smoking / vaping is strictly prohibited inside the cottage or on the patio.

Each Cottage Includes:

  • Queen bed

  • Sofa with double pull-out bed

  • Towels / Linens provided upon check-in (daily maid service not provided)

  • Dining table + two chairs

  • Kitchenette with coffee maker (with re-usable filter), mini fridge, microwave, kettle & toaster
     – Four of each: mugs, glasses, dinner plates, side plates, bowls, sets of cutlery
     – Dishrack, dish soap, dishrags and drying towels
     – Packaged sugar and powdered creamers

  • Gas Fireplace

  • Covered Patio with seating

  • Alarm clock, phone, TV with cable channels

  • Free WiFi in each cottage

Please note: Items such as shampoos, conditioners, and other personal toiletries and hair dryers will not be provided.

 

Housekeeping:

Daily maid service is not provided.

Laundry services are not offered during three day stays or less. If stays are longer than three days, fresh towels will be left outside by the door.

Rates: 

  • $90 per night (including tax) 

  • $100 damage deposit cheque (to be kept on file)


IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  • Rental fees and damage deposits must be submitted by Craig Bay owners and residents only. We do not accept cheques directly from the guest.
  • The cheque for the rental fees must not be post-dated, as payments are deposited upon receipt.
  • The $100 damage deposit cheque MUST be submitted as a SEPARATE cheque, as it will NOT be cashed unless it becomes necessary. This may be post-dated for the first day of your reservation, and will remain on file for 6 months.

 

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR PAYMENT:

Please include BOTH cheques in a sealed envelope, and deposit in the mailbox outside of the Beach Club office prior to the payment due date.  

  • Please make cheques payable to: CRAIG BAY BEACH CLUB
  • Failure to submit your payment on time may result in the termination of your reservation.
  • Once we have collected your payment, a reservation confirmation will be emailed to you. Please note that it may take a few days to collect and process your payment.

General:

  • Reservations may be cancelled and refunded at least 7 days prior to the check-in date. Refunds will be subject to a 20% cancellation fee.
      — Contact the Beach Club Coordinator to make any changes or cancellations to your booking.
      — The refund request will be submitted to the property manager (Proline) and a cheque will be issued by them and sent directly to the owner.
  • Cancellations (in whole or part) are not refundable if submitted within 7 days of the reservation. 
  • If your guest must cancel their booking or vacate early due to a Covid symptom, positive test result, health authority ordered quarantine, or other related cause, please contact the Beach Club Coordinator at beachclub@craigbay.com for instructions.

 

Please be advised:

If a Guest tests positive prior to arrival for their stay in a Cottage, the Coordinator must be notified ASAP and the booking will be immediately cancelled. 

If a Guest, who previously stayed or is currently staying at a Cottage, tests positive for Covid, the Beach Club Coordinator will immediately close the Cottage for fourteen days after notification. No one who has symptoms or possible exposure to Covid can self-isolate or quarantine in the Cottages.

Therefore, that cottage will become unavailable for two weeks following the departure of any guest who tests positive for Covid19.

**This may affect other bookings that had already been confirmed.**

Any bookings that can no longer be accommodated because of this mandated two week vacancy period, will be cancelled with a full refund.  The resident may be notified of their booking cancellation on very short notice, or with no notice.

Residents and their guests will be responsible for securing alternate accommodation under these circumstances.  The Beach Club assumes no responsibility for providing or locating alternate accommodation, and will not be responsible for any additional costs associated with this.

This caveat must be understood and agreed to at the time of booking.

A few days prior to your upcoming reservation, the hosting resident will receive an email with instructions for check-in, as well details about your assigned cottage.  You are requested to submit the GUEST CHECK IN FORM prior to your guests’ arrival, which will be linked in the check-in email.

  • Please refer your guests to the Guest Information page, where they can find information related to their stay.

 

CHECK IN PROCEDURES:

Guest Cottage check-in is now contactless:

  • 3pm Check-in: Please invite your guests to arrive at their assigned cottage no earlier than the 3pm check in time. Refer to the Check-in Email for your cottage assignment.
  • Keys: Your cottage keys are contained in the attached lockbox outside of the assigned cottage.  Open the lockbox with your code, and use the key to unlock the door.
     — Please refer to your confirmation or check-in email for your personal lock box code.
     — If you experience any trouble with access to your cottage, please call the caretaker at 778-268-0522.

 

CHECK OUT PROCEDURES:

  • 10am Check-out: Please remind your guests to vacate the cottage no later than 10am on their departure day

  • Please be sure that all leftover food and beverages are removed from the cottage and any used dishes have been washed. Remind your guests to do a thorough check to ensure that no personal items have been left behind.
  • Keys: Upon check-out, please advise your guests
      — WRITE THE TIME on the check-out slip attached to the green card, then place under the door mat to indicate that the cottage is now vacant
      — LEAVE one key on the counter
      — LOCK the door with the other key
      — REPLACE that key back in the lock box and secure properly

  • Please tell us about your guests’ stay, by completing a Comment Card.  You can report any deficiencies or concerns here as well.
