A secure mailbox has been installed outside of the lower Beach Club entrance doors where cottage payments are to be deposited. 

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR PAYMENT:

Please include BOTH cheques (rental fees + damage deposit) in a sealed envelope, and deposit in the mailbox outside of the Beach Club office prior to the payment due date indicated on your invoice.  

  • Please make cheques payable to: CRAIG BAY BEACH CLUB
  • Failure to submit your payment on time may result in the termination of your reservation.
  • Once we have collected your payment, a reservation confirmation will be emailed to you. Please note that it may take a few days to collect and process your payment.
  • Please note that all residents must submit a NEW damage deposit cheque for 2021 with their first reservation, as cheques submitted previously are now stale-dated.

Damage deposits that may have been submitted to the Beach Club office prior to 2020 will no longer be accepted for new reservations.

Given the amount of time that has passed, any cheques that have remained on file will now be stale dated.  So residents are kindly requested to submit a new damage deposit cheque with their first reservation in 2021 – this will be kept on file for 6 months from the date on the cheque, so this may be used for any future reservations within that time period.

Please be sure to date your damage deposit cheque for the first day that your reservation commences. As well, be sure that you submit a separate cheque for this – do not include the $100 damage deposit as part of the rental fee cheque.

The damage deposits do not get cashed unless it is determined necessary and appropriate. However, the rental fee cheques will be cashed upon receipt at Proline and must be dated for the date it is submitted – not post-dated for the date of the reservation.

Reservations that are cancelled up to 7 days prior to the check-in date will receive a refund for 80% of the rental fee. 

Cancellations submitted less than 7 days prior to the reserved dates will not be refunded. 

If you need to cancel due to a Covid-related emergency, then please contact the Beach Club Coordinator for instructions.

If  a Guest staying in the cottage receives a positive Covid test, subsequent reservations may need to be cancelled as a result. Special cleaning protocols are in place, as well as the need for a period of time between the infected guest vacating and anyone being allowed back in. So the cottage would be not available for occupancy for at least 2 weeks after the incident.

What this means for residents is that your reservation could be affected in this case. If this were to happen, we would attempt to reassign any affected subsequent reservations into other cottages. If this is not possible, then other accommodations would need to be arranged by the hosting resident or their guest.  Please keep in mind that there may be very short notice – or no notice – in this case.

The Beach Club, the Beach Club Coordinator, and the CLC are not responsible for securing alternate accommodations upon a forced cancellation, or for any cost associated with these changes. So it is important for all residents to be aware of this when reserving a cottage.

The entire cottage reservation and check-in process has been automated to create a ‘contactless’ experience.

Cottage keys will be accessed at the cottage at the check-in time via an attached lock box. Instructions about this will be sent to you via email prior to your check-in date. It is important that you check your emails to ensure that you receive your lockbox code and check-in details prior to your reservation.  

It is important that you review your cottage access details prior to your guests’ arrival so that any concerns or questions may be addressed during the Coordinator’s available work hours.

You may contact the Beach Club Coordinator to communicate your concerns. 

The Coordinator is available during her office hours and is able to assist with your reservation details, questions about policies, and any issues your guests may experience during their stay.  Any comments that are beyond her scope will be directed to the appropriate person as soon as possible.
