Come, meet and greet your friends and neighbors new and old!
Everyone brings appies to share, their own beverage and enjoy relaxed sociable conversation in the lovely setting of the Four Seasons Lounge or on the patio in the summer. Some board games/cards will be made available to add a little spice and interest. Attendees can decide at the time what interests them most depending on numbers.
The free drop-in sessions are available for both beginners and experts. There are several “experienced” fly-tiers (including the all-time Canadian Fly-Fishing Champion) involved to assist you in learning the art of fly-tying.
If you are interested but have no equipment, show up anyway as we always have supplies and equipment available for new-comers. If you decide you like fly-tying and want to get more involved in it, we will assist you in picking out appropriate equipment and supplies. This wonderful “art” is all about having fun!
We play music which could drive you crazy – but we do it with style. The name just confirms our belief in mixing up all the possible music styles. You name it, we’ll try and play it. Having fun and enjoying making music is our aim. Play an instrument? Sing? Like performing? For more information, call Dave Klinger or Andrew Collins.
A small group that enjoys playing Texas Hold’em meet each Monday and will be starting again Sept. 10, 2018. Membership is $20.00, used to supply cards; the balance will go towards our year end Tournament. Each week we put in $10 with up to three re-buys which is split proportionally to the final three players at the end of the night. We play by WPT amateur rules.
Humor and enjoyment is this the main focus with card playing as the added benefit.
Everyone is welcome to join us, both men and women. We’ll stop for coffee on the way home after our 1.5 hr walk.
We enjoy a brisk walk to San Pariel and back (1.5 hrs), then stop for coffee at Tigh-na-mara. We’re back in Craig Bay about noon.
