WMPG Starting Up Again for Spring
It’s getting to be that time again when the Wednesday Morning Project Group (WMPG) will resume work on the many projects that help keep our community looking great.
Working in the ponds, whacking weeds, installing bender board and various Beach Club maintenance projects are just some of our ongoing duties. We will also be taking on one-time projects as the need arises. (And it does!) The WMPG is made up of over 90 volunteers and our average turn out per session is around 45.
We are always looking to welcome more into the fold as we expand our projects and save the Community thousands of dollars.
As the current members know, I’ve saved the best till last. Along with the camaraderie and getting a stylish WMPG hat, at the end of every session you get to enjoy the efforts of the best bakers in Craig Bay!!
We meet at the Beachcomber every Wednesday morning at 9:00 am with the first session for 2019 starting on March 20th. The last session before we break for the summer is June 19th. I look forward to seeing the returning crew along with new members.

Mahjong is an exciting game where the aim is to remove all the playing tiles in the fastest time, while trying to achieve the highest score. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun!
Everyone is welcome to join us, both men and women. We’ll stop for coffee on the way home after our 1.5 hr walk.
All Fitness Classes are taught by Judie Sanbrooks, who is a BCRPA Certified Fitness Instructor.
