The Beachcomber Artists is a fun group who share experience, ideas, techniques and laughter. Bring your own paints/art materials and join us for tea and painting on Wednesday afternoons and all day Mondays. No instructor is provided.
All are welcome to join – men & women – however, please contact us in advance if you plan to drop-in as the schedule may change.
Some of the benefits of this gentle art are the promotion of better balance, reflexes, circulation, joint movement, connective tissue health, concentration, etc. and, of course, fellowship and fun. There is no instructor, and therefore, no cost to participate. The leader is a resident volunteer. Previous experience is necessary. Please contact to register.

The Beach Club is pleased to present the opportunity for residents to take part in small group fitness instruction with a personal trainer in the Craig Bay gym:
Low-Impact Mobility & Strength Fitness Classes with Shae Gerke
- Small Groups for Personal Attention: Classes are capped at 5 participants, creating a welcoming and personalized experience.
- What You’ll Learn: This program focuses on foundational strength and mobility. You’ll learn how to use gym equipment, develop proper lifting techniques and form, and build confidence while progressing toward your fitness goals.
- 6-Week Program: Meet once a week for a 1-hour session over 6 weeks. + Classes will be offered on Mondays and Thursdays at 3 PM, starting next week on February 3rd & Febraury 6th. Pre-registration required – see below!
- Investment: $175 + GST for all 6 classes
- How to Register: Email Shae at shae.personaltrainingco@gmail.com with your first and last name, phone number, and Craig Bay address. I’ll send you a waiver and invoice. Payments can be made via e-transfer or cash at the first session.
