Dogs are temporarily restricted from Parksville beaches during Brant Goose Season Even small disturbances can have a drastic effect on the Brant Geese. Thanks to the 23 volunteers who came out Friday to collect, sort and deliver returnable beverage containers to the Recycle Depot. Many hands made the task easier than usual. Thanks also to the residents who put out returnable-for-refund containers and baked goodies for the volunteers. $304 was collected for the Social Committee.

The next Bottle Drive is: Friday, February 1st The bottle drive is held on the first Friday of every month and all households are encouraged to place your empty beverage containers (with the caps removed) in bags at the end of the driveway by 9:00 a.m. for pickup.
