Mondays & Wednesdays
10:45 to 11:45am
in the Conservatory
(no fee)

We come together in fellowship and fun while exercising, to promote and encourage good health through mind, body and spirit.

We meet twice a week for one hour. In that hour a qualified volunteer teacher / leader will lead you through the Tai Chi foundation exercises, review what was taught the previous class and then teach 1-3 new moves until the complete set has been taught.  We even take a short tea break part way through the class:)

All students are encouraged to participate to their own ability.  Even learning it in the seated position is an option.

This group is for beginner students who have not done Tai Chi before.  There is a possibility of you joining the group part way through the classes if you have done this style of Tai Chi before and just want to review or refresh your memory.

Tai Chi is a beautiful art in motion exercise from the ancient Chinese tradition which has become very popular in the West. The whole body is used in these weight bearing movements.  Various health care professionals are recommending their patients practice this exercise.  You should contact them to see if Tai Chi is a good option for you.  Some of the benefits of this gentle art are the promotion of better balance, (fall prevention) reflexes, circulation, joint movement, connective tissue health, concentration, etc. and, of course, fellowship and fun.

Come join us…..all are welcome.
